Episode 0 Introduction: Abraham’s Journey

How has the Hebrew Bible changed the world? And how can recovering its wisdom give us a better understanding of human history?

Early in the Book of Genesis, we hear of a man called Abram, who recognizes the one true God and answers his call. Abram not only leaves his home, but also leaves behind the entire worldview of ancient pagan civilization. And in doing so, he bequeathed to the world the very notion of progress.

On July 4, we will begin reliving the Abrahamic sojourn through history, as we read through the entire Bible and discover how his descendants changed the world forever.
